I was born and raised in Ashland Wisconsin. I have always loved color and have enjoyed designing and making jewelry from a young age. Since 2001, I have been selling my beadwork at boutiques, juried art fairs, craft shows and festivals in the Midwest, and later began teaching beading classes at friends’ homes and at a quilt shop in Bayfield Wisconsin. I moved my family and my addiction to Marquette Michigan in 2005. Bella Beads was soon created out of my own desire to find the unique beads I wanted for myself and my beading students that I just couldn’t find at other stores. In the nearly three years that it has been open, Bella Beads has grown into a full service bead store with a specialty in hard to find gemstones and seed beads.

My goal is to offer you quality, unique beads and findings at a fair price with excellent service. I also am pleased to offer a variety of classes, with new designs being added each month. I hope to offer you special purchases as I come across them, and to work with you so that you may find something fitting to your own personal style.
