Introduction to Silversmithing II: Soldering.  Class members will learn how to solder copper and sterling silver.  Soldering techniques covered will include, chip soldering, stick soldering and sweat soldering.  Students will be provided with copper sheet metal, copper wire, and sterling wire.  Students will also learn how to make soldered jump rings used for chain making and making findings.  Students are required to bring tools from previous Silversmithing classes.  This class is a requirement to take future Silversmithing classes.
