In this class you will learn some basic bead applique techniques for sewing beads onto fabric, including relief and textural variations, filling and creating different shapes with row variations, beading around cabachons and found objects, edging stitches and some fringing techniques.
Then, begin to work on a small piece of bead embroidery, which can be made into a pouch, a patch or brooch, appliqued on a bag, framed, sewn onto a garment, framed and hung on the wall, or one of many other possibilities.
Although most students won't complete their project in class, excellent finishing instructions are included in the handout and will be demonstrated as well.
